The Cultivation Station Closes
The hydroponics and gardening store withdraws from Ann Arbor.
From the November, 2019 issue
Garden supply and hydroponics store The Cultivation Station closed its Stadium Rd. location in September, three years after it moved from its original Ann Arbor location on Jackson Rd. The location was one of several of the St. Clair Shores-based stores. We reported in 2016 that Cultivation Station and other businesses associated with the marijuana industry often face difficulty from banks scared of federal sanctions. While marijuana is now legal in Michigan, the federal government maintains its stance.
