The Big Salad on Plymouth Closes

With organic pot to follow

by Shelley Daily

From the February, 2020 issue

The Big Salad, which opened in 2013 in Plymouth Road Plaza, closed in November. The company didn't respond to a request for more information, but according to its website, its U-M Hospital location is still open.

Apothecare Ann Arbor, a cannabis store that plans to sell products sourced from its 12,000-square-foot cultivation facility in Jackson, is set to open in that space this spring after renovations. Paul Hoskins, one of three business partners, says it will be "the only business that has organically grown cannabis in Ann Arbor." Meanwhile, he says, they plan to open a temporary location--in a second-floor suite of the same building--that will sell medical marijuana.     (end of article)
