We received 181 entries correctly identifying the Fake Ad for PopBooks on page 81 of the June issue.

“I picked up the Observer to browse and it opened right up to page 81 where the ad for PopBooks popped right out at me,” wrote Kim Goodyear. “How cool is that? Not the first time this has happened. This method seems to work better for me than going through page by page.”

“Recently moved to Ann Arbor and love exploring the local businesses!” wrote Bailey Baron. “Unfortunately, Popbooks is a place I will not be exploring since it’s a fake business. Thanks for giving me a fun Saturday morning activity while reading the Observer!”

And Sandra Sipkin wrote: “I’m so old I had to look up the meaning of MANGA which is in your Fake Ad on Page 81 of the June issue. I’ve lived in AA since 1949 but would still have a lot of trouble finding Sixth Ave! But I did find the last name of last month’s winner in the last 3 letters of Shigurui and the first letter of Zombie.”

Our drawing winner was Kevin Tang. He’s taking his gift certificate to Everest Sherpa Restaurant.

To enter this month’s contest, find the fake ad in the July issue and follow the instructions in the box at the bottom of the Back Page. The fake ad always contains the name of last month’s winner in some form.
