Perry's Tuxedos in downtown Saline closed at the end of 2018 after six years in business. Attempts to contact owner Dave Perry went unanswered. His father, also named Dave Perry, owns Perry's Tuxedos Plus in Adrian. He says that his son brought his unsold inventory to the Adrian store in December. "He still helps me out when it gets busy, but he's looking for another job."
Diana Holding, owner of Saline's White Arbor Bridal & Formals, carries tuxedos for weddings. For homecoming or high school proms, she suggests teens head either to Men's Wearhouse in Oak Valley Centre or President Tuxedo at Briarwood Mall.
Holli Andrews, executive director of Saline Main Street, says the group is "working to fill the space with educational and entertainment amenities. It's not a done deal, so stay tuned."
