Fossil Closeout

The Woollams retire Nature's Expressions.

by Sabine Bickford

From the June, 2018 issue

"My husband and I are both getting really old, and the stuff is heavy ... We just couldn't handle it," says Priscilla Woollams, owner of Nature's Expressions. Woollams, her husband Stanley, and their son Larry plan to close the fossil and mineral shop they run out of their home in the upcoming months (see Events, June 9). The Woollams will be offering increasing discounts on their inventory of fossils, minerals, shells, mounted bugs, and sculptures. If you have the space, Priscilla says their most unique item is still unclaimed: "We still have this wonderful cave bear [skeleton] from 100,000 years ago ... Eight feet tall standing."    (end of article)
