“Those pigs are so cute!” says Shannon Kohlitz about March’s feature. Responding to our clue, Where do these pigs fly?, Rose Paretti answered, “on the parking lot behind Conor O’Neill’s on South Ashley.” It’s “the mural on the back of the Ann Arbor Art Center by Olivia Maldonado,” adds Spencer Thomas.
Bob Maddox found the mural with help from his granddaughter. Elizabeth Nolan and Dan Romanchick both admitted the I Spy hunt was their first encounter with Maldonado’s work. Bob Baird showed the picture around downtown to no avail, only to drive past it as he exited the parking lot at Ashley and William: “lo and behold … there they were!”
