Sunday February 10 from 3-5 p.m.-just in time for Valentine's Day-soprano Alexa Lokensgard, the musical duo Adrienne Pisoni & Quinn Strassel and magician Misha Tuesday will perform at Ladies' Literary Club, 281 N. Washington Street, Ypsilanti. Offering delicious food, wine and beer, this event benefits the renovation of the Ypsilanti Ladies' Literary Club meeting space and venue for area gatherings. General admission tickets ($50) are limited and available on a2tix.

Opera lovers have enjoyed soprano Alexa Lokensgard in recent years at the Michigan Opera Theater (Frida, Rigoletto, The Magic Flute) and Western Reserve Opera Theater's Carmen as well as in a variety of area concert settings. Her selections for this event include classical and operatic favorites.

U-M musical theater graduate, Adrienne Pisoni has toured nationally, appeared off-Broadway, and starred locally in AA in Concert's Ragtime and Performance Network's Little Night Music. Quinn Strassel-her guitar accompanist and husband-is known locally for directing Burns Park Players and teaching and directing theater at Community High School. The duo will perform folk and popular selections with guitar and vocals.

In large venues and private gatherings throughout the Midwest, Misha Tuesday mystifies audiences with his amazing magic, mind reading and hypnosis. He brings his magical charm and talent to the Cabaret this February.

Cabaret-at-the-Club benefits over $100,000 of critical repairs and renovations needed for the Ladies' Literary Club. Located on the corner of Washington and Emmet streets and listed on the National Registry of Historic Places, the white Greek Revival is regarded as one of the architectural gems of Washtenaw County. The house provides meeting space for the 140-year-old club and offers a popular rental site for area meetings, celebrations, and gatherings. The Ypsilanti Ladies' Literary House Foundation is a 501c3 non-profit dedicated to the maintenance and historic preservation of the Ladies' Literary Club House.
