Every Mon., Mar. 11-May 20 (except Mar. 18). Saline dance instructor Mary Jane Ormsby leads beginning (6:30 p.m.) and experienced (7:30 p.m.) dancers. With recorded oldies, Latin, and country music. First-timers are asked to call ahead.

Every Tues. Historical and traditional English dancing to live music. All dances taught. No partner or experience needed. Bring flat, nonslip shoes (running shoes OK). First-timers are asked to arrive at 7 p.m.

FULL HOCKEY/RINGETTE EQUIPMENT IS REQUIRED! We should have a few Ringette sticks available but bring one if you have one. A hockey shaft with no blade would work (but isn't ideal). This is an all ages drop-in for both girls/women and boys/men. The cost will be $6 for adults and $5 for kids.
There will be no formal instruction at these drop-in sessions. Ann Arbor Ringette will be there to go over rules for new people and to make sure players understand how to play, answer questions, etc. You can always join Ann Arbor Ringette if you want more instruction.

Every Fri. Lindy hop, East Coast swing, Charleston, blues, and Balboa dancing to music spun by DJs. Followed at 11:30 p.m. by blues dancing. No partner needed. Preceded at 8 p.m. by beginning lessons.

Mar. 10, 23, & 30. Hikes led by naturalist Faye Stoner. Mar. 10 (2-4 p.m.): "Green Things in Late Winter" (Scio Woods Preserve, north side of Scio Church Rd. west of Wagner). Dress warmly. Mar. 23 (7:30-9:30 p.m.): "Almost the Worm Moon" (Park Lyndon, north parking lot, North Territorial Rd., 15 miles west of US-23, Dexter), a night walk through wetlands, followed by hot drinks around a fire. Dress warmly. Mar. 30 (9-11 a.m.): "Dabblers and Divers: Migrating Waterfowl" (Independence Lake County Park Beach Center, 3200 Jennings, north off North Territorial, Webster Twp.). A slide presentation on ducks, geese, grebes, and loons, followed by a hike to view them on the lake. Bring binoculars if you can.
