Quit tobacco support group for older adults - November 12
This is a free support group led by MHealthy Tobacco Consultation Service and open to any adult over age 50 who has quit or is thinking about quitting tobacco. The group meets from 3:00 - 4:30 p.m. on November 12 at the Turner Senior Resource Center, 2401 Plymouth Rd, Suite C, in Ann Arbor. Sessions are informal and based on participant interests and concerns. Registration is not required. Free HIV testing is available at S3 Safe Sex Store every Thursday until 8:00 p.m.
Testing is performed by HARC staff.
Walk-ins welcome, or call to schedule an appointment. Test takes approximately 20 minutes.

FA is a program based on the 12 steps of Alcoholics Anonymous. There are no dues, fees, or weigh-ins at FA meetings. FA is a fellowship of individuals who through shared experience and mutual support, are recovering from the disease of food addiction.
An Information Session is where a small panel of FA members present a special format of an FA meeting which includes sharing of experience of the panel members and time to answer several questions from those attending the Information Session.
