Guy Hollerin's: Laith Al-Saadi Trio
An eclectic mix of roots Americana, classic rock, and blues, including many originals, by a jazz-tinged, jam-oriented trio led by local singer-guitarist Al-Saadi. With bassist David Stearns and drummer Skeeto Valdez.
Habitat Lounge: Phoenix Theory
Detroit Top 40 dance band featuring members of Scoot Magoo and 50 Amp Fuse.
Live: Drivin' Sideways
A "Geezer's New Year's Eve" with this veteran local band fueled by Pontiac Pete Ferguson's alternately soulful and ornery vocals. Their country-based repertoire still features lots of classic honky-tonk, but they also cover everyone from Chuck Berry and Johnny Burnette to the Beatles and James Brown. With guitarist George Bedard, along with bassist Pat Prouty, drummer Mark Newbound, and keyboardist Jim King. 6:30-9 p.m.
Mash: The Chris Canas Blues Revolution
Detroit blues band fronted by Canas, a young blues vocalist and virtuoso guitarist.

Funky, soulful organ-based jazz by this Detroit ensemble, With organist Scott Kulik drummer Eric Fillip, and guitarist Dan Gruszka.
Dec. 27-31. 5-night showcase of 50 local and Michigan bands in a wide spectrum of genres. The scheduled bands include Saturday Looks Good to Me, Frontier Ruckus, Matt Jones, Misty Lyn & the Big Beautiful, Timothy Monger State Park, Patrick Elkins, Bad Indians,Champions of Breakfast, and many more.
