"Aerial Silks for Ages 8-17": A2 Aviary.

This class is designed for active young people to focus on the fundamentals of the aerial silks. Students will learn the basic poses and sequences, as well as dynamic warm up methods and cool down stretching.
New students will work on building the endurance needed to spend several minutes in the air, students with aerial experience will layer personal style, choreography, and refinement over the basics. Be ready to build strength, flexibility, and coordination!

Feb. 15-18. Erin Palmer directs students in Leonard Bernstein, Adolph Green, and Betty Comden's energetic, witty 1944 musical about sailors on leave in New York. With an outdated guidebook in hand, Chip wants to go sightseeing, but Ozzie and Gabey have livelier fun in mind, and plunge into a citywide search for the lovely and elusive Miss Turnstile. The score includes "New York, New York," "Lonely Town," and "I Can Cook, Too."

"Erth's Dinosaur Zoo Live!": Erth Visual & Physical Inc. (Michigan Theater Foundation Not Just for Kids Series).

Australia-based touring production that uses giant puppetry, stilt-walkers, and inflatables to introduce kids to life-like dinosaurs and other creatures that inhabited prehistoric Australia. Featured animals include the famous Tyrannosaurus Rex and Triceratops, as well as the underappreciated giant dragonfly Meganeura, which had a 3-foot wingspan. Geared toward kids in grades preK-3.

From the slow Tai-Chi Form, which activates balance and calm, to playful Pushing Hands, which gives kids a safe, gentle outlet to explore themselves, to meditation techniques which they can use in the classroom and at home, this class invites kids to learn about themselves, and introduces them to skills that will bring them a lifetime of happiness! Available for children from 5 to 17 years old. Classes are held Sundays, 4:30 - 5:30pm.
