Sept. 9: Retired DNR environmental educator and natural history interpreter Tom Hodgson presents an illustrated talk on "Wildflowers Through the Seasons."

Oct. 14: Announcement of the club's annual grants to nonprofits and individuals for horticultural-related projects, including Chelsea Community Kitchen and the Intergenerational Garden at the Chelsea Senior Center, and a representative of St. Louis School Tranquility Garden, a 2011 recipient, makes a presentation showing highlights of what it has accomplished with the grant.

Nov. 11: Fraleighs Landscape Nursery nursery manager Dan Sparks-Jackson, an avid birder, discusses "Gardening for the Birds."
