Trampoline fitness and circuit strength class. Get the best of both worlds in this total body fitness class. Half low impact heart rate pumping trampoline cardio and half strength training using a variety of equipment to keep the workout fun and effective. Come join us for a 7-week yoga and mindfulness workshop. The group will meet Wednesdays at 4:30-6pm, for 7 Wednesdays from September 27th to November 8th, 2017. If you can, please plan to arrive by 4:15 to gather and get prepared to the session.
In this group, we will engage in the following:
-Learn basic Yogic breathing, stretching, and relaxation techniques.
-Engage in beginner Mindfulness practices.
-Learn the theory behind the technique.
-Practice the technique in session.
-Instructions for practicing at home.
-Participants will practice the application of mindfulness skills for daily life in an emotionally safe, positive group setting.
The group will happen in two parts: Part 1: Yoga and Part 2: Mindfulness Skills

Medical studies have shown this particular program to relieve pain for people with arthritis and improve their quality of lives, as well as preventing falls for older adults. For this reason, arthritis foundations around the world and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in America give it their full support. Although especially effective for arthritis, it is a great start for beginner to improve health and wellness. Classes are held 1pm - 1:50pm. Saturdays from 11am-12pm, join Mota Thai Yoga for a free yoga class (with donations accepted).
This class is a combination of Yin and Vinyasa Yoga. Many of the postures are held for longer periods of time than a typical yoga class. In between these types of postures, movement and flowing between postures will be done to create internal heat. Appropriate for all levels. This class is heated between 80-90 degrees.
