Static trapeze, or fixed trapeze, is a circus art performed on the bars and ropes of a mainly stationary trapeze. This class will be an introduction to basic assents, poses, and other foundational skills needed for this very athletic art form. Each class will build skills to culminate in a routine.
Beginner students will work to develop skills, more advanced students will layer personal style, choreography and refinement over the basics. While it is recommended that students be comfortable with getting on and off the trapeze unassisted, this course is suitable for both beginners and established aerialists.
Be ready to build strength, flexibility, and coordination - not to mention bruises in unusual places…!
$25 per single class
Six student maximum
