The ad was for WhisperCool filters, with the last name of our March winner, "Glowacki," concealed in the text, "Gee, low AC kills ..." It appeared on page 86 of the April issue.

"I love your fake ads," Kathy Kennedy wrote, thus making her one of our favorite entrants. "They are the first thing I look for each time I get the Observer. Thank you for the fun and challenge."

Our winner was Ypsilanti's Donald Reichert. He's taking his gift certificate to the Old German.
