"The picture inspired me to read more about the history of the building," shares Ivana Mrazova. Built in 1891, Newberry Hall was "originally the home of the Student Christian Association." David Collins notes that the window was a memorial to the Rev. Charles Fox of Grand Rapids and two of his sons.

Seventeen people submitted entries in September. Two guessed the other Richardson Romanesque building on State Street, the offices of Hobbs and Black architects. (Originally the First Unitarian Church, it, too, has a Tiffany window.) Our winner, drawn at random from the correct entries, is Amber Clark. She will enjoy her $25 gift certificate at Lena.
