The Honesty Policy

continued

I was a little offended that I didn't receive any introduction about who I am, where I worked, or anything about me, as a former employee of the Institute for Social Research, or that I am affiliated with the National Association for Medical Malpractice Victims *NAMMV and other victims rights groups.

To correct the article, I had obstructive sleep apnea jaw surgery for Mild Sleep Apnea and Mild Retrognathia. I did have a screw and plate screwed into my eye socket, and severe injuries to my nerves and other structures of my mouth and face.

I am speaking out because I do not feel risk managers should be allowed to handle patients after harm. They are attorneys, some of them. I am concerned and feel this is a patient safety issue.

If I were to give any future patient advice, it would be not to deal with Susan Anderson, and especially not alone or in any kind of telephone meetings. I would advise any patient not to talk to risk managers under any circumstances.
