The lovely lake has no public access, but that doesn't mean there isn't a public interest in keeping it clean and stable. Circus elephants don't come anymore for a long cool drink, but serene views of the lake's quiet blue expanse are still freely available to travelers along winding Pleasant Lake Road.    (end of article)
