Kim's Leaves Liberty

Martial arts store moves to Oak Park

From the October, 2012 issue

Kim's Martial Arts Supply was a family business for forty years. When founder Chong Kim retired, it passed through a daughter and then a cousin. When the cousin wanted to sell it, Orande Burrell, longtime customer and fifth-degree Tae Kwon Do black belt, bought and moved it to Oak Park, near Detroit. He says the store is essentially the same, but he now offers same-day delivery. He also sells online: www.ksmas.com. ;   Bookmark and Share
