Dexter Spice House, on the first floor of the pretty Victorian house on Central, has closed. It now appears to be some kind of office. The signage is gone, the phone disconnected, the Facebook page inactive, and several messages to both the website and Facebook page went unanswered. The Spice House’s owner, Denise Becker, seems to be back at her job as a teacher at Walled Lake, but she didn’t answer an email directed there either.
