Cafe Verde

continued

Cafe Verde, in operation since 2001 and renovated in 2004, is the "green below" the ornamented windows featured in February's I Spy. Part of the People's Food Co-op, Cafe Verde is run with the same principles that guide the socially responsible, environmentally friendly natural food store, selling fair trade coffee as well as a multitude of other beverages, baked goods, and items from the co-op's hot and salad bar.

Eleven entrants spied Cafe Verde. Sean Hillson won our random drawing; he'll be taking his $25 gift certificate to the Common Grill in Chelsea.

To enter this month's contest, use the clue and photo on the "Back Page" of the March Observer, then follow the directions on the bottom of the page. The winner of our random drawing gets a $25 gift certificate to any advertiser in the issue.    (end of article)
