We received 137 entries correctly identifying the Fake Ad for 2bztocook.com on page 49 of the November issue. “All I got to say is this,” wrote David Karl. “Sometimes you come up with the most amazing business ideas in these Fake Ads. I would be so there if this was a thing. ‘Fresh, delicious dinners, hot and ready to eat the minute you get home.’ Oh … yeah … an idea whose time is now, clearly. Beats the pizza you pick up on the way home, that winds up a soggy mess by the time you sit down to eat it.”

Melodie Marske (whose name makes us want to sing) also lamented that the business isn’t real, yet. “Too bad,” she wrote. “I think it could get traction in Ann Arbor.”

And Suzanne Tainter appreciated the distraction our little contest provides. “Thanks,” she wrote. “Looking for the Fake Ad took my mind off this disastrous election for a few moments.”

Our winner, if there are still winners, was Bob Abel. He’s taking his gift certificate to Big City Small World bakery.

To enter this month’s contest, find the fake ad in the December issue and follow the instructions in the box at the bottom of the Back Page. The fake ad always contains the name of last month’s winner in some form.
